2023 APPLICATION NOW OPEN — Cultivate: Women* of Color Leadership

The 2023 Cultivate: Women* of Color Leadership Application is Now Open

* trans and cis women, gender-nonconforming and nonbinary individuals.

Cultivate: Women* of Color Leadership (Cultivate) is a joint effort of Woods Fund Chicago, Chicago Foundation for Women (CFW), Crossroads Fund, Walder Foundation, and the Chicago Community Trust. This program is limited to grantee partners of those foundations. Woods Fund Chicago highly encourages qualifying grantee partners to apply!

Cultivate program envisions a world where women of color are wielding their innate and collective leadership to free society from structural racism and all systems of oppression. Through this work, they will bring forth a world where women of color are fully accepted, celebrated, respected, and valued.

Through collective learning spaces centering leadership, wellness, and skills building and development, Cultivate participants nurture and build on the power and strength of women of color within Chicago's social, economic, and racial justice movements. This year-long cohort-based program brings together women who lead intersecting but separate justice efforts to transform these movements from the inside, fortifying relationships among each other and collaboration across organizations. Additionally, Cultivate supports each participant's personal and professional development needs through 10 hours of Executive Coaching. A participant criteria and program calendar are included in the application form.

Deadline: October 10, 2023
